Overview
In anticipation of an award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) is seeking a qualified candidate to manage a cyber security program in Kansas City, MO. You will be responsible for all aspects of contract delivery, customer satisfaction, and profit and loss. The ideal candidate will have experience applying strategic planning methodologies and techniques to create goals, capture appropriate performance metrics and assess progress to facilitate long range planning in a federal cyber security environment. The position will report to the Director of Civilian Solutions and manage a team of 15 or more individuals.
In accordance with applicable law and Company policy, full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position, and proof of full vaccination status will be required on the first day of employment.

What You'll Do
- Contract Management – Responsible for managing scope and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time. Will ensure that all quality levels and service level agreements are met. Assists in negotiating contracting modifications for out of scope requests.
- Financial Management – Responsible for overall contract profit and loss. Maintains a budget and seeks efficiencies by hiring at or below budgeted salaries.
- Delivery – Responsible for successful performance against a variety of cyber security related workstreams to include 24/7 incident response, vulnerability scanning, assessment and accreditation, security compliance, and information security training. Works directly with federal staff to identify priorities and stays in front of challenges.
- Resources – Works with corporate recruiting and business partners to fully staff all positions with qualified personnel. Ensures good communications and manages employee performance issues. Manages subcontractors.
- Implement, manage, and support a phased management processes to provide a system for reviewing investment initiatives, projects, and on-going IT services through the implementation of Program Management Reviews (PMR), project status reports and performance across the project management triad (cost, schedule, time).
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10 or more years of total experience.
- 5-7 years project management experience minimum.
- Experience in Policy and Agreement, Risk Identification & Management, Audit & Compliance, Assessment & Authorization and A-123 Teams.
- Familiarity with IT security tools, technical trends, and policies.
- Ability to coordinate a team and provide direction for their personal development.
- Experience managing federal contracts valued at $15 million or more.
- Excellent client and team building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Haves
- Federal government agency work experience is strongly desired with specific experience at USDA.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and one of the leading industry certifications in Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) is preferred.
- Public Trust Clearance.
