Overview
In anticipation of an a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking an Lead Intune/MDM engineer. You will be responsible for developing and refining our device management strategies, leading the migration of mobile and desktop devices to Intune, ensuring timely decommissioning of Blackberry Enterprise Services and helping up-skill current staff to allow for boarder and deeper Intune support. Additionally, based on the level of expertise, this role may be asked to help with the distribution of work in supporting Exchange Online, One Drive and SharePoint administration.

* Preference for candidates within the National Capital Region (Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC). *
What You'll Do
- Lead Intune/MDM engineer supporting ~1000 end users in a mixed environment that includes mobile devices, VDI and laptop clients in both office and home settings
- Key contributor to MDM strategies to support iOS, iPadOS, Android and Windows 11
- Design and implement Intune policies and procedures
- Documentation of all implemented configurations
- Train and mentor other team-members on end-point management
- collaborate with team members to support the infrastructure migration from on-prem to Azure
- Coordinate and participate in planned maintenance activities to ensure IT systems are properly implemented and maintained according to best practices with minimal impact to the business
- Coordinate with the team to develop and maintain proper processes, procedures, security, and system documentation according to industry best practices and government regulatory requirements
- Help evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance the IT environment to serve strategic and tactical business objectives
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- MSFT expert level certification or demonstrated expertise and experience
- MSFT Intune engineering and administration experience
- Hands-on SCCM experience
- On-prem AD and Azure EntraID experience
- Azure Hybrid cloud experience
- MDM administration experience
- Expert troubleshooting skills
- Federal IT regulatory compliance experience
- Exceptional work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to work well both independently and part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer service
