Overview

In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead a groundbreaking initiative supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This program involves the integration of artificial intelligence to automate medical record reviews, significantly enhancing efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management experience, a deep understanding of medical documentation, and expertise in electronic medical records, particularly within the Medicare Fee-For-Service program.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire program, ensuring it meets its goals and objectives.
  • Oversee large-scale projects, including budget management, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise the performance of medical documentation reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Implement and manage systems for file and medical record management.
  • Utilize AI technologies to automate and enhance medical record review processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including CMS, to ensure program alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any issues or risks promptly.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Fully dedicated to the program, with no other concurrent employment.
  • Over 5 years of project management experience overseeing large projects, budgets, and staff.
  • Proven managerial experience related to file and medical record management.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing medical documentation reviews.
  • Working experience with electronic medical records or electronic transmission of medical records.
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience with the Medicare Fee-For-Service program.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a relevant field of study.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is strongly preferred. 
  • Proven managerial experience related to file and medical record management.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing medical documentation reviews.
  • Working experience with electronic medical records or electronic transmission of medical records.
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience with the Medicare Fee-For-Service program.
  • PMP certification is strongly recommended
  • Over 5 years of project management experience overseeing large projects, budgets, and staff.
