Overview

You will coordinate and facilitate conversations between policy, product and technical implementation. You will help bridge the gap between policy, product and technical implementation. You don’t just deliver what stakeholders ask for; you figure out and advocate for the right solution, the one that’s actually needed. You synthesize a compelling vision, generate a clear strategy to achieve it, then build a roadmap for execution.

What You'll Do

Leadership

  • Able to work independently and identify, communicate tasks to execute
  • Report on progress of project goals to various stakeholders
  • Sets the vision for project, including establishing short- and long-term goals and objectives
  • Creates a project strategy and roadmap and helps develop a communications strategy supporting project goals.

  • Communicates back to company Sr. Project Manager on contract status, results, and needs for the contract’s success

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of professional project management experience
  • 3+ years as a lead project manager overseeing and managing large project management teams

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in reporting to executive leadership. 
  • Adeptly negotiates and manages expectations with various stakeholders
  • Handles criticism and feedback with professionalism
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and other documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and make recommendations.

  • Presenting and gathering buy-in on plans (strategic or communications plans).

Salary Range

  • Salary range is $140,000-170,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
