Overview

As a Content Designer, you will use language and visual elements to effectively convey information in ways that resonate with the target audience. You will collaborate with teammates from various disciplines to simplify complex or abstract concepts, creating content that is both clear and engaging.

What You'll Do

  • Content Strategy: Develop content strategies based on user needs and business goals.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread clear and engaging content for digital platforms.
  • User-Centered Design: Apply user-focused principles to improve content usability and accessibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, development, and marketing teams to create cohesive content experiences.
  • Content Governance: Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines, legal standards, and accessibility requirements.
  • Consistency: Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and style across all channels and materials.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in content design or visual design.
  • Proven experience using both words and visuals to effectively communicate meaning.
  • Experience creating content for various visually-oriented platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Word documents, PDFs, Mural).
  • Competency with visual design fundamentals, including color theory, hierarchy, typography, and gestalt principles.
  • Ability to translate abstract subject matter into clear, actionable content.

Salary Range

  • Salary range is $110-130K/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
