Overview

In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. – recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace – is seeking a

SharePoint Developer to support a federal contract. You will work with  stakeholders and technology professionals to develop user-driven business requirements into systems and applications using industry best practice approaches for SharePoint/Power Platform technology solutions. These platforms consist of legacy SharePoint a, which is a newer overall technology area for the AppDev team. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve a key member of the team collaborating directly with customer stakeholders, end users, members of the scientific research community. Additionally your expertise will allow you to integrate with other developers, project teams, and leverage agile, DevOps frameworks. 

 

Location: Hybrid role in Bethesda, MD.

What You'll Do

  • Provide subject matter expertise for assigned systems/applications employing Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform technologies and tools, including but not limited to SharePoint Server 2016, SharePoint 2010/2013 Workflows, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Online, use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. in both SharePoint SEWP/CEWP and SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI, and ShareGate.
  • Design and develop Power Platform-based solutions against defined business requirements including technical documentation, engineering specifications, remediation reports, configuration and change management artifacts.
  • Iteratively develop or configure, test, stage, and release site/application changes utilizing Agile methodology.
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues and participate in scrum ceremonies, team meetings, documentation and code reviews.
  • Provide development and day-to-day operation, maintenance, and enhancement services for the current AppDev SharePoint site and Power Platform application portfolio and others PMO-approved projects as assigned.
  • Lead operations, maintenance, and end user support to resolve complex issues that are reported through the IT service management ticketing system. Design solutions that offer role or attribute-based identity management, authorization, and authentication across all business applications.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance/Testing, Implementation and Release Management processes.
  • Facilitate and support governance bodies as necessary (e.g. Change Control Board).

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience developing and administering Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Active certification in Microsoft SharePoint and or PowerApps (both preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform technologies and tools, including but not limited to SharePoint Server 2016, SharePoint 2010/2013 Workflows, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Online, use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. in both SharePoint SEWP/CEWP and SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI, and ShareGate.
  • SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migration experience.
  • Use Microsoft Entity Framework, JQuery, AJAX, SSIS, Oracle, Jenkins, Azure, AWS, PowerShell and associated languages (SQL, JSON, XML, Java, and Python) to design, develop, and manage databases and associated queries for the AppDev portfolio and adjacent CTB Team databases.
  • Perform ETL development for applications/systems, extracting and transforming data from enterprise and local data sources (e.g., eRA/IMPACII, nVision data warehouse, Excel imports/exports from grants, Human Resources, and admin systems/applications).

Salary Range

  • Salary range is $140,000-165,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
