Overview

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus), recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace, is seeking a Senior Pega Developer with strong React expertise focused on building data visualizations. This role requires experience integrating Pega, Elasticsearch, and PowerBI APIs into React-based user interfaces that manage and display large-scale data.

You will design, develop, and deliver robust solutions using the Pega Platform while contributing to a collaborative Agile team.

 

Location: Preference for candidates in Rockville, MD. 
Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to pass a background check.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop solutions on the Pega Platform, integrating with modern React-based front-end components.
  • Develop and implement data visualizations using React and visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Recharts, Chart.js).
  • Utilize Pega, Elasticsearch, and PowerBI APIs to retrieve and present large-scale datasets in dynamic, performant interfaces.
  • Optimize data loading and implement caching strategies to ensure efficient UI performance with large data volumes.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, backend, and data engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and demonstrate applications.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback, recommending and executing enhancements.

Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of technical excellence.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical background preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing with the Pega Platform.
  • Certified Pega Senior System Architect (SSA)
  • Proficient in JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building front-end applications that handle complex and high-volume datasets.
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch and PowerBI API integration.
  • Understanding asynchronous data flows, state management, and performance optimization in React.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Salary Range

  • Salary range is $100,000-120,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
